New Hampton Inclusive Playground Project Surpasses Halfway Mark of Fundraising Efforts

With recent efforts bringing fundraising to almost $190,000, New Hampton’s Inclusive Playground Project has surpassed the halfway point towards their $350,000 goal.

Park-Rec Coordinator Tara Hackman says the public’s response has been impressive since the campaign kicked off during the holidays last year. 

While the playground may be built a little later than originally planned, Hackman says they don’t anticipate Inflation and the supply chain to impact their final costs.

Hackman also notes that a big announcement is coming.

Hackman says the big reveal of the inclusive playground logo and name is expected Thursday on the New Hampton’s Inclusive Playground Project Facebook page.
