Campgrounds managed by the Floyd County Conservation department will be closing for the season soon, according to Naturalist Heidi Reams.
Reams adds that it’s not too early to book for next year.
Reams says reservations can be made through www.mycountyparks.com.
She also notes that the final River Float of the season is this Sunday (10.02) at 1 p.m. with kayaks setting out from the Midway Access on the Cedar River in Floyd County and heading south to Howards Woods near Nashua. Contact Floyd County Conservation for more information.
