“Feel Good Show” Saturday (07.04) in Charles City Salutes America’s 250th

The “Feel Good Show” in Charles City this Saturday, July 4th, looks to honor America’s 250th birthday.

Producer Ann Troge says performers will take you from 1776 through September 11th and beyond.

Troge says over 20 people have helped put the show together, including Kevin Smith of Plainfield, who made an instant impression during auditions.

Showtime is 4:15 PM Saturday at The Charles Theatre, with admission a free will donation to benefit a new performing arts center for Charles City students.

There will also be drawings for prizes Saturday, including a patriotic painting by Jayne Stowe, who is also helping to produce the show.

An account on behalf of the “Feel Good Show” to raise money for the performing arts center has also been set up at First Citizens Bank.
