“IC In Color 2022 5K Run/Walk” Saturday in Charles City
After first being scheduled in 2020, Immaculate Conception Elementary School in Charles City is finally ready to host its first-ever color run.
Postponed by COVID two years ago, Emily Stowe with the school’s PTO says the “IC in Color 2022 5K Run/Walk” will begin and end at the school this Saturday morning.
While the deadline has passed for a white t-shirt to be included with your registration, participants can still sign up and wear their own white tee from home.
Stowe adds that proceeds from the event benefit general activities for students that are supported by the PTO throughout the school year.
Check-in begins at 8 a.m. Saturday with the color run/walk starting at 9:30 a.m. You can find more details on the Immaculate Conception Elementary School Facebook page.
