Mark is a 1983 graduate of Charles City High School and loved black and orange so much, he went to Wartburg College. graduating in 1987.  Mark and his wife, Bonnie, along with their grandson, Tristan, moved back to CC in May of 2021.

Mark’s radio career has taken him from his early days at Wartburg campus station, KWAR, to KWAY in Waverly, KDEC in Decorah, KCII in Washington, 800 KXIC/100,7 The Fox in Cedar Rapids/Iowa City , plus stations in Texas and Nebraska.
