$30,000 in Iowa Lottery Prizes Unclaimed in Northeast Iowa

Iowa Lottery prizes totaling $30,000 that have been won in recent months in northeast Iowa, but have gone unclaimed.
The Iowa Lottery says six lottery prizes of at least $10,000 are currently unclaimed across the state and players are being reminded to double-check their tickets.
Among the unclaimed prizes is a $20,000 Word Search InstaPlay ticket that was sold April 14th at Casey’s in Waukon. The winner has until July 13th to claim his or her prize. A prize of $10,000 was won with an Extreme Green InstaPlay ticket sold March 12th at a Casey’s store in Gilbertville, just southeast of Waterloo. The winner must claim that prize by June 10th.
Lottery officials say that in fiscal year 2021, more than $1.3 million in lotto and InstaPlay prizes expired without being claimed in Iowa.
