C.C. Fire Chief Eric Whipple Announces Resignation; Physical Agility Test to be held THIS Saturday

Charles City Fire Chief Eric Whipple stopped by the studio this morning to talk about a number of items. The big news of the morning was Whipple announcing his departure from the fire department to take a position with Cerro Gordo County. He also encouraged those interested in becoming a firefighter to attend the physical agility test which is set for Saturday Oct. 1. Be at the fire station by 9:30am, as the test will begin promptly at 10am. He also recommends wearing comfortable “work” clothing and closed-toe shoes
