Charles City-Opoly Board Games Go On Sale Thursday (05.23)

Charles City-Opoly game boards are set to go on sale Thursday (05.23).

That’s Charles City Park-Rec Director Tyler Mitchell, who says the board games are a fundraiser to build an accessible playground at Sportsman’s Park.

Mitchell says while the playground will be accessible for kids with special needs, the facility will be a place for all family members to enjoy.

For those who wish to enjoy playing Charles City-Opoly, Mitchell notes that supply of game boards for sale will be limited.

Games will go on sale Thursday (05.23) for $35 at City Hall, Otto’s Oasis, Rustic Corner, Unique Country Store, Birdie and Bo’s, Main Street Drug and Tellurian Brewing.

While sponsorships and sales for the game boards are expected to bring over $25,000 for the playground, Mitchell adds that any donations towards the project are also welcome.
