It’s Irish Fest this weekend in Lawler.
That’s Ben Larson with Lawler Irish Fest, who says Friday (06.14) night festivities include opening ceremonies at 6:30 pm, plus live music from The Crowfoot Rakes playing traditional Irish music followed by the classic rock of Not Quite Brothers. There’s also an outdoor family movie at dusk at the Kids Area in Croell Park.
Activities continue Saturday (006.15)with the Grand Parade at 1 pm, plus the “Best Legs in a Kilt†contest and more Irish music from The Guilty Kilts, Ballyheigue and Blame Not the Bard. The country music of the Cory Farley Band wraps up the night, with another outdoor family movie at dusk.
