The Charles City Elks Lodge continues its Flag Day tradition on Friday (06.14).
Elks Lecturing Knight Jessica Hallett says June 14th was officially designated as Flag Day back in 1949 by President Harry Truman, an Elk himself.
Hallett says Flag Day ceremonies will begin at 6 pm Friday evening at the Elks Lodge and is open to the public.Â
