Juveniles Steal Vehicles in Northeast Iowa, Apprehended in Des Moines

After stealing two vehicles in northeast Iowa, three juvenile subjects were arrested in Des Moines.

The Bremer County Sheriff’s Office has released details of the incidents which occurred on May 31st, when they received a report of a stolen vehicle from the 1300 block of 260th Street in Waverly. An investigation determined that three juveniles took a 1995 Rally Wagon from a building on the property and drove to a location in Cedar Falls where they abandoned the van. 

The juveniles then stole a second vehicle from Cedar Falls and were apprehended in Des Moines on June 1st. A 16-year-old juvenile female from Marshalltown, 15-year-old juvenile male from Garwin, and 17-year-old female from Dubuque were cited into juvenile court for third-degree burglary, a class D felony; and operating a vehicle without owner’s consent, an aggravated misdemeanor.
