You Don’t Have to be a Farm Kid to Join FFA

It’s National FFA Week February 18th through February 25th.

Charles City FFA chapter president Zach Chambers says one doesn’t have to be a farm kid to join FFA and you have nothing to lose by becoming an FFA member.

At last October’s National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, the Charles City FFA chapter was honored again with another 3-Star Chapter award, which is given to only about three-percent of the nearly 9,000 FFA Chapters across the nation.

Chambers says the Charles City FFA chapter now has about 160 members and notes that one in five jobs in Iowa is ag-related.
