Artists are welcome and encouraged to apply for participation in Charles City’s 50th annual Art-a-Fest celebration.
Presented by the Charles City Arts Council, Art-a-Fest is scheduled for August 19th from 10 am to 4 pm in Central Park in support and celebration of local artists. The event features original artwork (for sale), interactive arts, food and live performances.
Applications for artists, food vendors, service vendors, and non-profit organizations supporting the arts are due by Wednesday, May 31st.
Applicants will be notified of selection by June 18th. The entry fee of applicants not accepted will be returned with notification, as long as the application was submitted by the deadline. Accepted applicants’ fees are non-refundable.
Craft-based vendors are encouraged to apply for the local Charles City Farmer’s Market, which will be set up from 9 am to noon during Art-a-Fest.
