It’s Homecoming Week 2023 for New Hampton High School.
With an Olympic theme of “Let the Games Begin,†dress up days start with ‘Merica Monday (09.25) followed by “Summer in Paris: Beach Day†on Tuesday (09.26). Wednesday (09.27) is Olympic Rings: Color War†with seniors to wear blue, juniors to wear red, sophomores yellow, freshmen green, and school staff to wear black.
Dress up days continue with favorite jersey or athlete on “Bolt to the Finish Line†Thursday (09.28) and Chickasaw gear for “Bringing Home the Gold†on Friday (09.29).
This year’s New Hampton Homecoming court includes queen candidates Tori Bearman, Grace Maloy, Hailee Pesek, Taryn Smith and Molly Wegner. King candidates are Talyn Bohaty, Lee Reicks, Karson Kolbet, Gatlin McCumber and Cael Laures.Â
The Homecoming King will be crowned during the pep rally which follows the Homecoming Parade Thursday night at 6 pm. The queen will be crowned at halftime of Friday night’s football game against North Fayette Valley.Â
The Homecoming Dance is from 8 to 11 pm Saturday night at the Chickasaw Events Center.
