Northeast Iowa Highway to Experience Lane Closures Next Week
Starting next week, motorists will experience intermittent lane closures for about five months on a northeast Iowa highway.
The New Hampton Construction Office of the Iowa DOT says a hot-mix asphalt pavement resurfacing project on Iowa 76 will begin Monday, June 20th and continue until mid-November, weather permitting. The target area for the road project includes Highway 76 from the Clayton/Allamakee County line to Allamakee County Road X-32.
During the construction, motorists will be directed through the work zone with flaggers and pilot cars when workers are present.
