Campgrounds Open in Floyd, Chickasaw Counties

Campgrounds are now open for the season across north Iowa.

Chickasaw County Conservation Director Chad Humpal told the Board of Supervisors this week that camping revenue is again trending strong as they head down the home stretch of the fiscal year. 

Floyd County Conservation Naturalist Heidi Reams says it’s a good time to brush up on camping do’s and don’ts.

Reams also reminds campers that campground sites as well as cabins can be reserved anywhere in the state through www.mycountyparks.com.
