The Charles City Police Department announced on Monday that the city’s 4 speed cameras are now active.
According to a post on the CCPD Facebook Page:
The Traffic Enforcement Cameras are powered up and will start issuing warnings for about the next 30 days. They will only issue warnings/tickets on speeds at 10mph and above the posted speed limit. They are located on S Grand Ave by 11th Street, Highway 14 by S Iowa St, Highway 18 by L Street and Gilbert St as you leave town.
