Trial date set for Waukon man accused of killing wife

A Waukon man accused of killing his wife now has a trial date set.

A jury trial will begin on May 15th for Brandon Kasemeier. Kasemeier is accused of killing his wife at a home in Waukon back in January before he fled into Colorado.

A pre-trail conference has been scheduled for April 22nd.

According to records, the body of Jami Kasemeier was found by police on January 22nd.

Brandon Kasemeier was charged with first degree murder and was arrested in Loveland, Colorado.
