Community Volunteer Recognition Nominations Sought in Charles City

Nominations are now being accepted for Charles City Community Volunteer Recognition Awards. 

Co-hosted by the Charles City Area Chamber of Commerce and the Main Street Charles City program, all non-profit organizations and schools in Charles City are invited to participate and honor their top volunteers from this past year. The public is also encouraged to nominate someone for Person of the Year as well as “Caught in the Act” awards for people seen doing an unselfish act for others or their community in 2023

Winners will be honored at the Annual Community Volunteer Recognition Event from 7:30 to 9 am Friday, April 12, at the Charles City Community Center. There is no cost to attend, with free-will donations accepted to help offset the cost of a light breakfast that will be served.
