31st Annual Spookwalk Monday (Oct. 26) in Charles City

It’s the 31st edition of a Charles City Halloween tradition when Spookwalk returns this Monday (Oct. 26).
This year’s theme is “A Wicked Good Spookwalk,” with the free family-focused event for children up through sixth grade and their families, brought to you by the friendly goblins at Main Street Charles City.
Main Street’s Cathie Hager says close to three dozen vendors will welcome kids as they walk the Riverfront Park Trail behind the Charles City Public Library from 4:30 to 6:30 pm.
Spookwalk committee member Annette Dean says they’ll again offer a special pre-entry period for children with special/sensory needs or may struggle with large crowds.
No early entry will be allowed Monday night without having your child pre-registered, which ends at noon on Monday.
In case of inclement weather, rain date is Wednesday October 28th.
Some 1,500 kids will trick-or-treat during Spookwalk, which also features vendor awards for the Best Use of Theme, Most Creative, Mayor’s Choice, Kid’s Choice, President’s Award, and Best Overall Treat Station.
Watch Charles City Chamber & Tourism on Facebook for updates.
The official Trick-or-Treat Night in Charles City is set for 5:30 to 7:30 PM Saturday, Oct. 31st.
