Santa Visits Charles City’s Central Park This Weekend, Takes Kids’ Phone Calls, Too

Santa will be visiting Charles City’s Central Park this weekend.

Santa will be in the Santa House, provided by the Charles City Chamber of Commerce, from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday. Children can share their Christmas wishes with Santa and families are welcome to take photos and check out the Santa’s Shining Lights Show. There is no cost and treats will be provided for the kids after their visit. 

Wagon rides with Santa will be available on Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. with pre-registration for rides at www.CharlesCityChamber.com. During the wagon rides, Mrs. Claus will be at the Santa House reading books and handing out treats.

Santa and his little helpers will also be available for phone calls from kids between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. at 319-238-9922, sponsored by the Charles City Rotary Club.

Santa Claus will also be available at the Santa House from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, December 17th and Sunday, December 18th

Letters to Santa can be slipped through the mail slot at the Santa House at any time through December 23rd. If children include their return address they will receive a response from Santa’s Workshop in the mail.
