Mason City Public Works has Free Mulch; Will Deliver to 30-Mile Radius

The City of Mason City Public Works Department has free mulch available for residential use.

Street Division staff will deliver the mulch up to 30 miles from Mason City, free of charge. Deliveries will be made between 7 AM and 3:30 PM Monday  through Friday.

If interested in a mulch delivery, contact the Mason City Street Division at 641-421-3675 with your name, contact phone number, address and the location where mulch should be dumped off.

Be advised that the delivery area will need to be accessible to a single axle dump truck.

The City will not be responsible for damage to sod or lawns.

If the dump site is too wet, staff will dump the mulch as close to the location as possible.
