Santa will be making visits to Charles City and New Hampton this weekend.
As part of Santa’s Shining Lights Display in Charles City’s Central Park, Santa will be in his Santa house from 1 to 3 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday.
Santa will also make an appearance at Mikkelson Park in New Hampton Saturday night from 5 to 7 p.m. There will also be fireworks at 6 p.m. as part of the Little Light of Mine holiday lighting display.
It’s also “Panic Saturday” this Saturday in New Hampton, which New Horizons Chamber Director Liz Zweibohmer says serves as a great reminder to shop local for the holidays, especially for last minute gifts.
The Charles Chamber of Commerce will draw for winners Thursday their CASH FOR THE HOLIDAYS RAFFLE. Tickets are $25 each and are available at the Chamber, the Hy-Vee Service Counter, Main Street Drug and Sherwin-Williams in Charles City.
Three winners will be drawn Thursday afternoon via Facebook Live.
