City of Charles City Works to Finalize Goals for the Next Year

The new year starts this Sunday, but the City of Charles City is already working on plans for the new fiscal year that starts July 1, 2023.

Diers says what they want to set out to do and what they can do, can have different end results.

Diers says officials have identified five or six primary goals and finalizing them will coincide with setting their budgets for the fiscal year 2024.

Diers says he still has some more departments to meet with yet before the budgeting process begins in earnest next month.
