Chickasaw County Public Health is hosting free blood pressure clinics in February, which coincides with American Heart Month.
Administrator Lisa Welter says good heart health is good for your overall health.
Welter says heart disease is a leading cause of death every year.
Welter’s department will host a free blood pressure clinic from 1 to 2 pm Friday at the Lawler Library and more are scheduled for next week. You can see future times, dates and locations below:
Alta Vista Library 2:15 pm to 3 pm February 7
Nashua Public Library 11 am to noon February 8 and 10 am to noon February 9.
Ionia Community Library 12:30 pm to 2 pm February 8.
Upham Memorial Library in Fredericksburg 9 am to 10:30 am February 9th.
New Hampton Library 10 to 11 am February 9.
