National Public Health Week Encourages Engagement with Your Community

April 3rd through the 9th is National Public Health Week.

Chickasaw County Public Health Administrator Lisa Welter says the main theme of the week is to become engaged or re-engage in your community.

Welter adds that Public Health Week also encourages practicing and teaching gun safety.
