Chickasaw County Conservation is hosting a wood burning class this Thursday (04.13) at 6 pm at the Twin Ponds Nature Center between New Hampton and Ionia.
Naturalist Matt Crayne says it’s an opportunity to create your own work of art.
The program is free, but pre-registration is recommended by calling 641-394-4714.
With a taste of summer weather this week, you might be thinking of spending some time on the water. Crayne says they’ve already got plans for a pair of floats on the Cedar River.
