Officials are alerting residents of a controlled burn planned for Saturday in New Hampton’s Garnant Park.
New Hampton Fire Chief Toby Schwickerath says his department will be conducting the burn on behalf of the City.
Schwickerath advises those in the area of the park on 4th Avenue South to be aware that there will be smoke that may linger for a few days after the burn. The City will dispose of remaining debris next week.
