Fifth Arrest Made in Northeast Iowa Prostitution Investigation

A fifth arrest has been made in a northeast Iowa prostitution investigation.

In January, the Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office made initial arrests of three subjects from Oelwein as part of a prostitution investigation in Fort Atkinson. 52-year-old Trent Fitzpatrick was charged with pimping, a Class D felony; while 38-year-old Ashley Rochford and 29-year-old Nicole Burgos were both charged with two counts of prostitution.

Rochford and Burgos have pleaded guilty and each received suspended sentences with two years probation, plus pay about $1,700 in fines. Fitzpatrick has pleaded not guilty and has a June 7th trial date in Winneshiek County District Court.

In April, the investigation led to the arrest of 38-year-old Kaylee Harting of Aurora on one count of prostitution. She has pleaded not guilty and her trial is scheduled for May 16th.

Saturday (05.06), the investigation resulted in the arrest of 49-year-old Bradley Kamaus of Fort Atkinson on three counts of prostitution after he turned himself in to the Sheriff’s office. Court documents show Kamaus admitted to purchasing sex acts from Burgos, Rochford, and Harting on numerous occasions in December and January at his residence in Fort Atkinson.

Authorities say Kamaus also showed them messages on his phone that corroborated his admissions and he cooperated with law enforcement. Later in the investigation, documents from Kamaus’ bank account showed the transfer of currency for the sex acts.
