New Hampton Furniture Store Named Grand Marshals for Heartland Days

Dungey’s Furniture, a staple of New Hampton for 60 years, is the grand marshal for this year’s Heartland Days, now less three weeks away.  

Trace Dungey says their selection as grand marshals was unexpected.

Mark Dungey says the store has tried to be part of the community from the time they opened the doors.

Mark Dungey says that community feeling was returned when the store was damaged by fire in October 2014.

There’s also a Dungey’s Furniture Store in Osage, which opened in 1987.

This year’s Heartland Days in New Hampton are scheduled for June 9th and 10th.
