C.C. Police Chief Hugh Anderson – Saturday’s Bike Rodeo, Main Street Parking Update, Nuisance Properties & More

Charles City Police Chief Hugh Anderson was one of our guests on Thursday. Hugh provided updates on the Main Street 90 Minute parking, nuisance properties along with information regarding Saturday’s (6-3-23) annual Dean & Kim Marzen Memorial Bike Rodeo.

The annual Dean and Kim Marzen Memorial bike rodeo will be on Saturday June 3rd, 10-11:30 am in the parking lot on the river by Hot Shots.

Kids can register their bikes, get a safety check and ride through the obstacle course and ‘bike wash’! There is a drawing for bikes and other prizes at 11:15 am. (Must be present to win). Sponsors for the event include CC Cares, Quality Auto Service, Theisens, CUSB, and HyVee.

Chris was born in Webster City and raised in Charles City, which basically means he’s been corn‑fed and radio‑bred since day one.
