Results from 2023 Firecracker 5K

           Jermaine Dizon and Elise Dykstra took home the top honors from the 2023 Firecracker 5K Race July 4th in Charles City, winning the overall men’s and women’s medals respectively. They bested a field of 73 runners and walkers at the 21st annual fundraiser event to benefit the community recreational trail. Dizon, age 19, is from Charles City, while 15-year old Dykstra hails from Nora Springs..
