A north Iowa woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash Friday evening.
The Iowa State Patrol says the wreck occurred about 15 miles north of Osage shortly after 5 pm Friday (09.22). A truck driven by 83-year-old Albert May of Stacyville was driving north on Ocean Avenue when it collided with the pickup driven by 33-year-old Danielle Funte, also of Stacyville, who was heading west on 480th Street.
The crash report says May failed to yield the right of way and hit Funte’s vehicle on the driver’s side. Funte was killed in the crash. She was not wearing a seat belt.
The Mitchell County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
