Linn and Prospect Traffic Lights in New Hampton Will Stay

The traffic light/signals at the intersection of Linn Avenue and West Prospect Street in New Hampton are not going away.

Mayor Bobby Schwickerath says feedback from the public factored into the City Council’s decision this week; including input from New Hampton Schools Superintendent Jay Jurrens.

Schwickerath adds that businesses in that area also expressed keeping the traffic signals in place. After about a month of discussions, Schwickerath says the issue is complete.
