Bids Being Accepted for Phase 3 Construction of New Hampton’s Tribe Trail
Bids are now being accepted for the construction of Phase 3 of New Hampton’s Tribe Trail.
Phase 3 will connect the trail from Linn Avenue on the south side of New Hampton with the Chickasaw Wellness Center on the west side of town.Â
Tribe Trail committee chair Megan Baltes says construction is estimated at about $730,000.
Baltes says bids only pertain to construction of the trail.
Baltes adds that officials are also hopeful that a window of Spring to Summer 2024 for construction will attract bidders.
Baltes says fundraising continues and they’re also seeking additional grant funding to help offset costs of completing the Tribe Trail project that started in 2016.
