Wapsie Valley at Nashua-Plainfield Friday to Decide Class A District 3 Crown

The Class A District 3 title is on the line when Wapsie Valley visits Nashua-Plainfield Friday (10.13) night.

That’s Wapsie Valley Head Coach Duane Foster, who adds that they will treat the matchup as a playoff game.

Nashua-Plainfield Head Coach Andrew Christiansen’s Huskies will face a Warriors defense which has held opponents scoreless in five of their six wins.

While the game is being played on “Friday the 13th,” Christiansen says his team is superstitious for other reasons.

Foster has his own superstitions.

Superstitions aside, the Huskies will play again with a heavy heart due to the recent death of former player, Kaden Wilken, who’s funeral services were held Friday (10.13) morning.
