28th Annual SPOOKWALK Monday Night in Charles City

The 28th Annual SPOOKWALK is set for Monday (10.23) night in Charles City.
The free family-friendly Halloween event, with a theme of “Circus CarnEvil,†is sponsored by Main Street Charles City. Organizer Kamryn Kronschnabel says families with children in grades six and under can walk through displays from local businesses and organizations along the Riverfront Park trail behind the Charles City Public Library Monday evening from 5 to 7 pm.
Kronschnabel notes that there will be a coloring contest giving kids a chance to get the event started.
There is a special pre-entry period from 4:30 to 5 pm Monday for kiddos who have special/sensory needs or may struggle with large crowds. However, no early entry will be allowed unless your child is pre-registered by contacting the Main Street Charles City office or emailing [email protected].Â
In case of inclement weather, the rain date will be Monday, October 30th. Watch Facebook at Charles City Chamber & Tourism for updates.Â
Mayor Dean Andrews has set trick or treating in Charles City for Tuesday, October 31st from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.Â
