‘Tis the season to volunteer to ring bells for the red kettles in support of the Chickasaw County Salvation Army, either in solo or group efforts.
That’s Liz Markham with Chickasaw County Salvation Army, who says they need bell ringers to accomplish their mission to raise much-needed funds during the holiday season
Even if bell ringing isn’t your thing, Markham hopes you’ll make a donation to help them help local families year round.
Markham says Salvation Army also helps Chickasaw County residents by keeping the food pantry at New Hampton High School stocked.
Bell ringers are needed to cover one-hour shifts from 8 am to 7 pm Monday through Saturday at Fareway in New Hampton. Fundraising continues through noon on Saturday December 23rd.
