Long Journey Back for Rudd Historical Society

A year after its museum was heavily damaged by a rare December tornado, the future of the Rudd Historical Society was still unclear.

Fast forward 12 months and the Society’s Joyce Navratil says they’re close to being completely settled into their new building on the same site that once was home to the Wesleyan Church in Rudd.

The Society began moving into the new building in October, two months shy of the two-year anniversary of the derecho-spawned tornado that ripped through Rudd on December 15, 2021.
