Long Journey Back for Rudd Historical Society

Â A year after its museum was heavily damaged by a rare December tornado, the future of the Rudd Historical Society was still unclear.

Fast forward 12 months and the Societyâ€™s Joyce Navratil says theyâ€™re close to being completely settled into their new building on the same site that once was home to the Wesleyan Church in Rudd.Â Â

The Society began moving into the new building in October, two months shy of the two-year anniversary of the derecho-spawned tornado that ripped through Rudd on December 15, 2021.
