Charles City Rotary Radio Auction to Benefit PAWS Humane Society

It’s the 14th Charles City Rotary Radio Auction Saturday (02.03) on 95.9 KCHA.

Rotary’s Tammy Elthon says proceeds from this year’s sales will once again be split 50-50, with half going to PAWS Humane Society and half to regular Rotary projects.

Some 100 items will be up for bid from 9 am to noon on Saturday morning. Elthon says bidders should be prepared to pay more than the listed price.

Items up for bid can be viewed at www.kchanews.com, but printed copies are also available at Circle K Communications in Charles City, where Elthon says they will be open from 1 to 3 pm Saturday afternoon for payment and pickup of purchased of items after the auction.

Last year’s auction raised almost $7,000 with half going to Central Preschool in Charles City
