Osage crowned four individual state champions en route to winning the Class 2A team title at the Boys State Wrestling Tournament Saturday (02.17) in Des Moines.
Addressing a homecoming pep rally Sunday (02.28), Head Coach Brent Jennings noted a historic accomplishment for the program.

Winning their second state individual titles are Osage;s Blake Fox at 138 pounds and Tucker Stangel at 157, with teammates Anders Kittleson at 144 and Mac Muller at 285 both winning their first crowns.
New Hampton-Turkey Valley’s Braden McShane, a state runner up last year, capped his senior season with the 2A title at 215 pounds.
North Butler-Clarksville’s McCKade Bloker went undefeated for the season in claiming the Class 1A state title at 190 pounds.
Also winning state individual titles are Gavin Landers of Denver (Class 1A 113 pounds) and Bas Diaz of Waverly-Shell Rock (Class 3A 150 pounds).
Osage won the 2A team title with 128.5 points, besting second-place Mt. Vernon with 110 points, with NHTV finishing tied for 13th.
In the Class 1A team standings, Nashua-Plainfield finished 10th and North Butler-Clarksville 12th
