Chickasaw County ISU Extension Open House for New Location Tuesday (02.20)

The Chickasaw County office of Iowa State University Extension and Outreach is now in a new location in New Hampton.

That’s County Extensio0n Director Amanda Tupper, who invites the public to their Open House from 3:30 to 5:30 pm on Tuesday (02.20). Festivities start with a ribbon cutting ceremony by the New Horizons Chamber at 3:30 pm, plus refreshments and door prizes.

Tupper says it’s also a chance to meet-and-greet with local staff and statewide specialists, while exploring an array of resources and services offered by ISU Extension and Outreach, including the VITA program.

Tupper says appointments are requested to have your taxes done as well as for the Scone School coming up this Thursday (02.22) evening.
