Charles City Police Identify Stolen Vehicle Suspects

The Charles City Police Department (CCPD) has identified a man and woman suspected of stealing a vehicle last weekend.

CCPD says they took a report of a stolen vehicle in the 600 block of Gilbert Street shortly after 7 am Sunday (03.31)morning.

In seeking the public’s help, CCPD posted pics of the two suspects on Facebook Tuesday (04.02) morning from security camera footage at McDonalds in Charles City after a black, 2001 Nissan Maxima was stolen.

An update early Tuesday evening says they identified the two individuals thanks to information called in.

Also on Sunday, CCPD was called to the 1000 block of South Grand Avenue at about 9 pm for a report of juveniles chasing people in a parking lot with a taser.  The juveniles were found and officers spoke with their parents.
