Pair of Wednesday (05.15) Deadlines for New Hampton’s Heartland Days

There are a pair of deadlines Wednesday (05.15) in advance of New Hampton’s Heartland Days, which celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2024.

New Horizons Chamber Director Liz Zweibohmer says a Wednesday deadline has been set for donations to purchase a memorial bench and trash receptacle to be placed in Mikkelson Park to honor Penny Corbitt.

The goal for both the bench and trash receptacle is $4,750, but if the overall goal is not met, Zweibohmer says they are planning to only do the bench. Either way, dedication is set for 7 pm on Saturday night, June 8, at the park.

Wednesday is also the deadline for registration for the Miss Heartland Days Pageant. 

Registration deadline for parade entries is May 24th.

New Hampton Heartland Days are June 7th and 8th.
