“The Friendly Town†of Alta Vista is celebrating 130 years of heritage in the northern Chickasaw County community with Alta Vista Days Friday (05.31) night and all day Saturday (06.01).
James Frantzen with Alta Vista Days says Friday night highlights include live music from the Bruce Bearinger Band from 6 to 10 pm, plus the “Show and Shine†from 5 to 7 pm.
Saturday events include the Live Auction Showdown, bingo, and the parade at 11:30 am.
FThere’s also more live music Saturday with the Buck Hollow Band from 12:30 to 3:30 pm and the Nick Johnson Band from 8 to 11 pm.
