Flood Help for Residents 60 and Older in Charles City, North Iowa
The Elderbridge Agency on Aging says it is helping flood victims ages 60 and older in 18 Iowa counties, including Floyd, Cerro Gordo, Worth, and Winnebago.
Elderbridge, which coordinates the lunch meals at the Charles City Community Center, says it will provide information and referral services; assistance in completing FEMA or other financial assistance forms; referrals to appropriate agencies for safe housing, food, clothing, or other necessities; and referrals into case management.
These services are available to those 60 and older in Buena Vista, Cerro Gordo, Clay, Dickinson, Emmet, Floyd, Hancock, Humboldt, Kossuth, Lyon, O’Brien, Osceola, Pocahontas, Sioux, Webster, Winnebago, Worth, and Wright counties.
