A northeast Iowa man was killed in a two-vehicle crash Monday (07.01) afternoon.
The Iowa State Patrol says the fatal wreck occurred just before 4 pm in near Waucoma in Fayette County. A Chevy S10 truck, driven by 41-year-old Joshua Quail of Waucoma, was southbound on X Avenue when it approached an uncontrolled gravel intersection and collided with a Ford Edge, driven by 58-year-old Diana Mohlis of Hawkeye, that was westbound on 240 Street.
Quail died at the scene. His body has been taken to the State Medical Examiner for an autopsy.
Mohlis suffered minor injuries and was cleared by medical staff at the scene.
The crash is under investigation.
