Chickasaw County Sheriff’s Office: See Something, Say Something (No Matter How Minor)

The public can play a vital role in keeping our communities safe. That is, if you speak up.

That’s Chickasaw County Sheriff Ryan Shawver, who says even something “playful” like kids firing a super soaker water gun or Orby gun gel ball blaster can be taken the wrong way.

No matter how big or small the issue might seem, Shawver says too many people don’t “see something, say something” to avoid being part of a potential investigation.

A recent post by Shaver in the Chickasaw County Sheriff’s Office-Iowa Facebook page includes a link to the “See Something/Say Something” initiative through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
