Floyd County Medical Center Rotunda Closing Permanently

Due to construction as part of a $40 million hospital/clinic expansion project, the current main entrance/rotunda at Floyd County Medical Center (FCMC) will be closing permanently on Monday (07.29).
To accommodate the big change to the FCMC campus in Charles City, a new patient parking lot is available next to the Rural Health Clinic/Urgent Care. FCMC encourages patients to begin using the new parking lot Friday (07.26) afternoon.
To access this new lot, drive south on Main Street, turn right onto 13th Street, then turn left into the new lot (right across from the Rural Health Clinic/Urgent Care). There will also be seven handicap parking spaces available close to the new main entrance as well as four additional limited mobility patient parking spaces.
The Emergency Entrance may also be used to drop off limited mobility patients.
