Nashua Area EMS Passes One-Year Anniversary of Ambulance Service

The new Nashua Area EMS recently passed its one-year anniversary of providing ambulance service to the City of Nashua.

Service Director Zenda Vikturek says the positive community reception of the ambulance, launched July 1, 2023, has been expressed through their verbal support and their generosity.

Vikturek notes that they have received over $14,000 in donations to help them keep service running with the supplies and upgrades they need.

Still, she says their success comes from the dedication of those who help staff the ambulance.

Vikturek says that sacrifice pays off when a resident tells you the impact the ambulance service has on their own personal life.

In addition to ambulance calls, Vikturek says providing the service also includes presence at community and Nashua-Plainfield athletic events.
